Description:
Tenders are invited for Training on Gis and Spatial Data Collection with Mobile Phone and Handheld Gps Scope and Topics to be covered in the training: Introduction to GIS basic concepts. Get started with QGIS and ArcGIS. Data collection with handheld GPS and mobile applications. Spatial Data Visualization. Digitization Importing collected data into QGIS and converting them to shapefiles. Maps design. Using on line GIS tools like Google earth. Overlaying collected data with CROM DSS and VLUAP spatial data. Interested firms/consultants are invited to submit applications including company profile and information showing that they are qualified and experienced to carry out the tasks of the assignment outlined above. Firms/consultants will be expected to have staff with qualifications and experience in the relevant field required for the implementation of the tasks. The lead consultant should be a holder of a Master-s degree in Data Sciences, Social Statistics, Informatics, Geoinformatics, Geography, Natural Resources Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience in spatial/social data management with QGIS, ArcGIS, SQL, Data collection with mobile applications and Handheld GPS.
