Tenders are invited for Training Curriculum Developer and Expert Trainer for Interspaces' Great Lakes Programme (Experiential Learning, Youth Leadership, Youth Participation in Peace, Governance and Development) Qualifications Extensive experience developing training curriculums on relevant topics (see above) Expertise in pedagogy and experiential learning approaches Experience facilitating training of trainers in pedagogy and experiential learning Ability to lead and coordinate a team of several partner staff and external experts to develop cohesive curriculums Ability to analyse and present information in a clear manner Good knowledge of peacebuilding, political and conflict realities in the DRC, Burundi, Rwanda and Uganda Experience with YPS programming Proven record of delivering professional outputs (with at least 2 verifiable references) Excellent French and English speaking and writing skills. An ability to deliver on tight deadlines At least a bachelor-s degree in pedagogy, social sciences, peacebuilding, or other related areas. The assignment is structured into seven main steps: Review of existing materials: reviewing the relevant project documents; results of the Youth consultations, as well as existing training modules. Draft curriculums outlines and objectives: drafting curriculums outlines and objectives. Curriculums- review and division of tasks: in a workshop with partners, review and validate the outlines and objectives. Divide tasks based on partners- areas of expertise and identify areas where additional expertise is needed. Content and tools development: oversee training contents and tools development and advise partners on pedagogical aspects. At the same time, develop contents and tools where partners do not have expertise (consultant and/or sub-contractors). Review and harmonization of contents and tools: this step could be achieved through an in-person workshop and/or through a series of online work sessions. Finalization of the training curriculums: including formatting. Training facilitators on contents delivery and pedagogical aspects.
