• Tenders are invited for Supply and Installation of above Ground Weighbridge with Centralized Monitoring System at Nduba Dumpsite, Kigali, Rwanda. Supply and Installation of a Weighbridge with Centralized Monitoring System at Nduba Dumpsite. City of Kigali is Rapidly Urbanizing Hence Resulting in Huge Amount of Waste Generation and High Demand in Public Services including Solid Waste Management Services. Unfortunately, Collected and Transported Waste to be Disposed of is Calculated Based on Estimate and No Accurate Data are Available to Know Exactly How Much is Collected and Dumped to Nduba Dumpsite. The Estimations, as of 2020, from Conducted Feasibility Study for the City of Kigali Indicates that the Actual Waste Quantities to Nduba Dumpsite is Estimated to be around 850,000 Tons since its Launching in 2012. The Current Nduba Dumpsite is Located on a Ridge with a Steep Slope towards West. Disposal Takes Place at the Upper, Flat Part of the Area, Where Collection Trucks Unload Waste. To Control Waste Coming in and out of the Dumpsite, the Contractor will be Responsible to Supply, Deliver, and Install a Weighbridge with Centralised Monitoring System at Nduba Dumpsite. There is No Doubt, once Installed, Weighbridge will Greatly Improve Operations at the Dumpsite. The Major Goods, Related Works Supplied and Installed are Listed below; • Supply and Installation of the Main Twin Girder Design Platform Structures, the Truck Scale and Load Cell. • Electrical Works for Cable Connecting Load Cells to Power Supply and Signal/Traffic Lights • Civil Works for the Steel Deck and Scale House • Supply and Installation of the Centralized Monitoring Unit (Cmu), Uninterruptible Power Supply (Ups) and Automatic Voltage Regulator (Avr) as Per Indicated in the Detailed Specifications. It is Estimated that the Supply and Installation should be Completed with Sixteen (16) Weeks after Notice to Proceed has been Issued. HOW TO OBTAIN THE DOCUMENTS: Documents can be accessed via the e-Green Procurement Portal by selecting ‘View Details- on the relevant notice and then clicking the ‘Tender Application- button. If you are a new supplier, you will be required to register your details. If you have an existing account, you will need to login to the portal. Please refer to the guidance documents under the 'Supplier Guidance' area of the portal for further information.
