These build on prior work on societal trauma healing and on participatory governance implemented in partnership with various local actors for the past several years. Interpeace Rwanda is seeking to procure Thirty-Nine (39) Motorcycles, which will be provided to the Ministry of Health (through Rwanda Bio Medical Center-RBC) for use by district Hospitals and Health Centres in the indicated areas of our programme implementation. These Motorcycles are expected to enhance the capacities of the said institutions to conduct regular mental health awareness campaigns at the community level, strengthen screening and home-based care services; and scale up capacity building activities for community health workers on management of patients presenting symptoms of mental health disorders.
