Tenders are invited for Recruit a Capacity Building to Produce Simplified Guidelines on Climate Change (Activity Nr: 61142 The production of the simplified guidelines will be done in quarter 4 (year 1) of the project (August-October 2021); The simplified guidelines will be based on the following gaps highlighted by the CSOs assessment: Vision and mission are not well shared among the organization members and staff. Weak linkage between the organization's mission and the main activities of the organization. Most of assessed CSOs representatives don-t know the agroecology concept More than one third of the assesses CSOs representatives are not able to give examples of agroecological approaches More than one third of the assessed CSOs representatives do not understand what is climate-resilient agriculture. The assessed CSOs have limited knowledge and skills in smart energy appropriate technologies or practices. Rare are CSOs which engage with decision-makers on climate change and resilience policies. Almost all the assessed CSOs have a need of engaging with decision-makers through climate change and resilience policies advocacy. A special need to extend the capacity building to schools curricula was also expressed. Duration: 10 days maximum; The simplified guidelines on climate change and resilience will be used by CSOs for policy engagement, training of smallholder farmers, and dissemination of knowledge in communities. The consultant/s will be expected to: Understand the CRA project documents, especialy related researches and CSOs assessment reports; Develop simplified guidelines on climate change ; Produce and submit the report to CCOAIB for validation.
