• Expression of Interest are invited for Implementing Awareness-Raising Activities on Counter Trafficking in Persons Location: Kigali Deadline: Tuesday, 31/10/2023 23:59 6 Specific Tasks Each selected IP will be expected to conduct the following activities within the district of intervention: Produce awareness raising materials Implement the awareness raising campaign for a period of 3 weeks Put in place a monitoring system to measure the number of beneficiaries reached Collect feedback from beneficiaries on the awareness raising campaign 7 Expected Results Each awareness raising campaign is expected to reach at least 20,000 people per each of the targeted districts (Rubavu, Nyagatare and Kirehe), with a particular focus on women and girls. Through the awareness-raising campaign beneficiaries will be provided with the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves from becoming Victims of Trafficking (VoT) and to report potential cases of TIP. 8 Proposed timeline One month (13 November - 12 December) 9 Indicative Budget Maximum 15,000 USD / per district including staff and other administrative costs. Overhead is not eligible. The applicant is expected to submit the breakdown of the budget using the budget template attached (Annex C) 10 Selection Criteria Name Description Weight Minimum requirement Be legally registered to operate in Rwanda. Be able to conduct campaigns in Kinyarwanda. Be able to report in English. Have experience in conducting awareness raising campaigns on Counter Trafficking in one of the selected 3 districts. - Relevance of proposal to achieving expected results All required activities are included. Target beneficiaries are well defined, The approach / methodology, including the monitoring and feedback collection system, is reasonable and/or innovative. A gender lens in mainstreamed in awareness-raising activities Risk management is well considered. The breakdown of the proposed budget is sound and clear (including the expected contribution by the prospective IP). 60 Organizational Capacity Has at least three years of experience working on awareness raising campaigns. Can demonstrate experience working on CT. Has an adequate number of qualified personnel who are able to carry out the activities. Has a sound management system including for accounting and procurement. 20 Other Has previous experience working with UN agencies as Implementing Partner.
