Tenders are invited for Implementing 12 Public Awareness Raising Events on Rights and Economic Participation of PWDs in 8 Districts, Quarterly (Tv and Radio Talk Shows). Location: Kigali Deadline: Thursday, 25/01/2024 23:59 Implement 12 public awareness raising events on economic participation of PWD in 8 districts quarterly (TV and radio talk shows): 12 public awareness campaigns through TV and radio shows will be conducted in years 1, 2 and year 3(v4 talks per year). The project will provide support to the public awareness strategy and annual action plans determining priorities, topics and target audience for each period. We will synchronize radio programs with other Radio stations if possible . The events will be interactive and give a voice to PWDs. 1,000 persons will be globally targeted per show and receive information on disability and move towards positive perception of PWDs. Specific objectives of the activity Increase awareness among the general population about the economic challenges faced by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the targeted districts. Foster a sense of inclusivity by showcasing the economic potential of PWDs and challenging stereotypes through engaging narratives and discussions. Disseminate relevant information on available economic participation opportunities, support mechanisms, and resources for PWDs in the targeted districts. Empower PWDs with knowledge about their economic rights, available support services, and pathways for active participation in economic activities. Challenge and mitigate stigma and discrimination by promoting positive stories of PWDs who have succeeded in economic endeavors. Facilitate open and inclusive dialogues between PWDs, community members, and stakeholders to address concerns, share experiences, and foster understanding. Encourage active participation from the audience through phone-ins, live questions, and online interactions, promoting a dynamic and inclusive environment. Inspire action at both individual and community levels by motivating stakeholders to actively contribute to the economic empowerment of PWDs. Strengthen collaboration with key stakeholders, including local authorities, media partners, disability organizations, and community leaders, to create a unified approach towards economic inclusion.
