Description:
Tenders are invited for Developing a National Water Resources Atlas for Rwanda. The Primary Objective of This Short‐term Consultancy Is to Consolidate Existing Water Resources Data and Information, and Generate a National Water Resources Atlas with Illustrative Maps, Graphs, Photos, and Narratives. A) Identify Available Water Quantity and Quality-Related Data from Different Sources. B) Determine the Thematic Areas of the Atlas Based on Data Availability and Standards. C) Select and Agree on Appropriate Water Resources Indicators Relevant for Use in the Atlas Report. D) Acquire High-Resolution Images and Data for Water-Related Features in Rwanda. E) Hold Consultations with Key Partners in Water Resources Management at Both National, Regional, and International Level (Government Departments, Research Institutions, Universities, Private Sector, and Civil Society) to Ensure Their Data and Information are Gathered. F) Archive the Collected Data Systematically for Easy Retrieval; Use Appropriate Metadata System to Document Vital Information on the Data. G) Provide Brief Texts Describing the Illustrations Developed, Taking into Account Comments Received on Available Texts and Captions. H) Compile and Process Appropriate Data into Meaningful Indicators and Illustrations to Ease Interpretation of the Generated Information. I) Prepare and Validate the Final Version of the National Water Resources Atlas. Deadline: 27th January 2022 at 5.00 p.m.
