  • Tenders are invited for Develop a Multimedia Champions Campaign Outreach Model Location: kigali Deadline: Wednesday, 08/02/2023 18:00 PURPOSE: RTI is seeking an individual consultant experienced in creative media campaigns to assess and develop a best-fit multimedia outreach model targeting the private sector. Depending on the outcome of this assessment, Hanga Akazi will then determine the best approach to implement the recommended champions- media campaign model. The champions- media campaign is aimed at showcasing champion organizations/companies in agri-food sector that are successfully implementing inclusive business models and practices as a business case. The media campaign can include but not limited to documentaries, audio, print materials to showcase the champion firms via TV, Radio, physical gatherings, newspaper, and social media mediums. The goals of this campaign are: To showcase high-performing firms - especially SMEs - in Rwanda that are implementing inclusive hiring and human resource management practices as part of their overall business model. To spur imitation, innovation, and greater adoption of inclusive hiring practices in other agri-food businesses. To help establish the β€œbusiness case” for inclusivity and diversity in hiring, promotion, and human resource management in the private sector. To create buzz in the general agribusiness sector - among businesses, consumers, professional associations, and public sector actors - about those firms that are leading and innovating in inclusion in Rwanda. The consultant/firm will implement this is 2 phases Phase 1 - Will cover the assessment on the best outreach products/model to reach to the Rwanda-s private sector (large, medium, and small firms) showcasing the 6 champion firms and how it can be implemented. The consultant will share a report to HA including the action plan and the budget of the recommended approach. Phase 2 - Will cover the implementation of the recommended approach in Phase I. After phase 1, HA and the consultant will agree on the way forward to execute phase 2. HA will coordinate with the consultant on the implementation of phase 2 as part of the recommendations of the phase I activity. In developing the champions campaign action plan, the consultant must consider two primary issues: (i) how the campaign can reach and impact businesses of all sizes across the country, particularly those in agri-food sector on the importance of inclusive business practices (ii) how the campaign will build a business case for inclusion. ACTIVITIES: The following activities will be the responsibility of the successful applicant with the oversight, input, and guidance of the HA Social Inclusion Manager: Phase 1 Inception: To prepare for the assignment, the successful applicant will attend an inception meeting with the HA team to review the assignment purpose and proposed action plan from the consultant. The consultant will prepare an inception report prior to this meeting, which will include the proposed methodology and action plan for conducting the assignment (phase 1). Assessment and reporting: the successful applicant will assess the private sector to understand and inform HA on the best champions media campaign model/ approach that will reach a wide range of private sector actors in Rwanda. The consultant will present the findings and provide a report highlighting the approach deduced, methodology used to assess, target audiences, implementation mechanisms, monitoring mechanisms, the action plan for implementing the model and its proposed budget.
