Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy for Analysis of Grassroots Organizations and National Cso Networks for a Regional Project on Women Peace and Security in the Great Lakes Region The contractor shall provide the following work/service: Map grassroots organizations in Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, and Uganda that work on WPS issues according to their WPS focus, technical expertise, reach, and capacity to absorb funding; Assess the capacity-building needs of these grassroots organizations and recommend targeted interventions to enhance their knowledge, skills, and resources; Conduct an analysis of civil society networks in the Great Lakes Region in terms of access they have to national/ regional decision-making spaces potential gaps that need to be addressed to have their voices heard (in terms of substantial contributions and mechanisms available to them); and support joint agenda-setting as a preparation to access decision-making spaces mentioned above Document best practices and successful models from the Great Lakes Region or similar contexts where civil society networks have accessed decision-making spaces on the WPS Agenda; Conduct a SWOT analysis of existing national civil society networks in the 12 MS that have a proven link with their constituencies and can act as the channels for the regional structures like the ICGLR Regional Women-s Forum, CSO forum, etc Location: Kigali Deadline: Thursday, 23/11/2023 23:59
