• Tenders are invited for Community Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Consultant Scope of Work Intrahealth International Seeks a Qualified Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Consultant to Work with the Usaid Ingobyi Activity and the Ministry of Health Teams to Develop Community Emr Implementation and Monitoring Plans. Ingobyi Activity is a Five-Year Cooperative Agreement to Improve the Quality of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (Rmnch) and Malaria Services, in a Sustainable Manner with the Goal of Reducing Infant and Maternal Mortality in Rwanda. The Usaid Ingobyi Activity Builds upon the Tremendous Gains Rwanda has Made as Well as Previous Usaid Investments in the Health Sector. Usaid Ingobyi Activity Aims to Contribute to the Reduction of Infant and Maternal Mortality and Incidence of Malaria in Rwanda. The Activity Partners with the Gor to Build on the Country-S Considerable Achievements, Guided by National Health Strategies, Goals, Objectives, and Data. The Goal of Usaid Ingobyi Activity is to Contribute to the Reduction of Infant and Maternal Mortality in Rwanda. The Strategic Objective is to Improve the Utilization and Quality of Rmnch and Malaria Services in Rwanda, in a Sustainable Manner. Over the past Few Years, the Ministry of Health has been Investing in Ict Solutions by Installing Electronic Health Record Systems and Other Health Related Ict Interventions Throughout Rwanda. The Government of Rwanda has Made Smart Health as One of the Pillars in the Information and Communication Technology Policy. To Support this Vision, the Moh, through Collaboration with Usaid- Funded Ingobyi Project, Implemented by Intrahealth International Inc., has Embarked on Interventions to Strengthen Rwanda-S Community Health Program by Leveraging the Transformative Power of Digital Health to Enable Increased Impact of Malaria Programming and Other Health Packages down to the Community Level. Community Emr will Help Improve the Performance of Community Health Workers (Chws) by Improving Quality of Consultations, Delivery of Services and Data Reporting and Use. The Community Emr is Also Expected to Reduce the Chw-S Reporting Burden through Use of Electronic Data Forms. Purpose and Objectives of the Consultancy The Purpose of this Consultancy is to Support Intrahealth International and Moh to Develop a Robust Community Emr Implementation Plan in Rwanda. The Objectives of this Work are: To Undertake a Comprehensive Desk Review of Community Health Information Systems to Inform Prioritization and Planning of Community Develop Community Emr Implementation Plan Highlighting Key Elements of the Approach and Overall Strategy, Executive Summary that Discusses the Critical Elements of the Approach and Overall Strategy, Mobilization Approach, Interventions and Tasks, Risks and Risk, Mitigation Approach, as Well as Performance Indicators.
