Expression of Interest are invited for Assessment of Productive Use of Energy in Rwanda The objective of the study is to assess the potential of productive use of energy (PUE) in Rwanda by identifying the key categories of productive users and the respective energy consumptions, identify barriers to realizing these potentials, and propose interventions that address those barriers and build an ecosystem to foster productive uses of energy in Rwanda. By assessing the potential electricity demand from productive users, the study will help to inform electrification planning to ensure the power supply will be sufficient to meet that potential demand. By identifying barriers to realizing these potentials and the interventions needed, the study will help to inform the policy and investment design that can unlock these potentials to support economic development and improve public service provision while also increasing the financial sustainability of the energy sector. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
